Today, spices are enjoyed by most cultures across the world and many have become staples to certain cuisines. When we aren’t flavoring, coloring, and preserving food with spices, we’re using them for medicinal purposes. For instance, did you know ginger can relieve nausea, or that cumin increases immunity and metabolism? Yep, spices sure are something special. And that means we need to take the proper steps to get the most out of them and increase their shelf life…no pun intended.
The most important part about good organization and storage is being practical. Organizing stuff like spices in a spice rack near the place where you cook food is much better than storing the spices in a cabinet on the other side of the kitchen. It is the same with everything else in the kitchen and everywhere else in the home.
Installing wall mounted storages for any spices is a good idea if you have no drawer to keep the spices. Those spice rack ideas also work well in small spaces. No need extra floor plan to have a wall spice rack. Hanging simple racks and shelves depends on the amount of herbs and spices you have.
